One-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "COWDEN & WILCOX / HARRISBURG, PA," circa 1865, ovoid jug with semi-rounded spout, brush-decorated with a plant bearing three flower buds. Cobalt highlights to maker's mark and handle terminals. A 7/8" base chip and a minor glazed-over base chip. Staining to bottom half of jug. H 11 1/2".
