Four-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "COWDEN & WILCOX / HARRISBURG," PA origin, circa 1865, ovoid jug with semi-rounded spout, brush-decorated with triple-blossomed plant motif. Cobalt highlights to maker's mark, capacity mark, and handle terminals. Includes wooden stopper. Excellent, essentially as-made condition. H 17 1/4".
