Very Rare Stoneware Match Safe, Huntingdon County, PA origin, fourth quarter 19th century, cup-shaped form on pedestal base with Albany-slip-glazed surface, the rim and foot with coggled edges. A loosely-related example from the same consignor sold in Crocker Farm, Inc.'s Summer 2023 auction, lot 470. Excellent condition with very minor rim wear. H 2 7/8".
