One-Gallon Salt-Glazed Stoneware Jug, Stamped "E.A. POE," Fayetteville, NC, circa 1890, semi-ovoid jug with flattened spout and ribbed strap handle, the surface covered in a salt glaze. Excellent, essentially as-made condition with an in-the-firing contact mark to shoulder and a minor glazed-over chip at lower handle terminal. H 11 1/2".
