Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Canning Jar, Stenciled "A. CONRAD. / NEW / GENEVA, / FAYETTE / CO.PA.," circa 1875, tapering jar with tooled shoulder and semi-rounded "wax sealer" rim, featuring A. Conrad maker's stenciling flanked by stenciled wheat motifs. Chips to interior of rim and inner rim for lid, the largest measuring 1 1/8". A small piece of adhered clay at base. H 8 3/8".
