Two-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Bird Decoration, Stamped "BRADY & RYAN / ELLENVILLE, N.Y.," circa 1885, cylindrical jug with tooled spout, decorated with a slip-trailed design of a crested bird with fan-shaped tail, perched on a stylized branch. Excellent condition with some in-the-firing dryness to decoration below bird and some staining to surface. H 14 1/2".
