Two-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Bird Decoration, Stamped "BRADY & RYAN / ELLENVILLE, NY," circa 1885, cylindrical jug with tooled spout, decorated with a slip-trailed design of a crested bird perched on a stylized branch accented with dotted trails. A few small spout chips, one of which is glazed over, and a few short lines in spout. Residue to surface on reverse. H 14 3/8".
