Iron-Decorated Stoneware Jug, Stamped "CHARLESTOWN," Frederick Carpenter, Charlestown, MA, circa 1812-1827, ovoid jug with tooled accents to base, shoulder, and spout, decorated with a dipped iron-oxide decoration to upper body and base. Excellent condition with a minor base flake, some staining, and a minor in-the-firing chip to top of spout. H 10 3/4".
