Rare Diminutive Glazed Redware Dish with Copper-Slip 1835 Date, Northeastern U.S. origin, 1835, thin-walled, flaring dish featuring the slip-trailed copper-slip date, "1835," over a manganese-tinted ground with clear lead overglaze. Unusual slip date and exceptional size. Excellent condition with a tiny fleck of glaze loss to rim and very minor surface wear. Diam. 4 1/2" ; H 5/8".
