Rare Large-Sized Stoneware Figure of a Recumbent Lamb, Midwestern origin, circa 1885, hollow-molded figure of a reclining lamb on slab base, the surface covered in a clear salt glaze. Chips to ears. A line along seam in animal's back, including some minor chipping. Some additional in-the-firing lines and wrinkles in clay. Two salt drips. Two small base chips. L 10 1/2".
