Rare Salt-Glazed Stoneware Figure of a Dove, possibly Union Stoneware Company, Red Wing, MN, circa 1880, molded figure of a dove with collar embellished with hand-impressed circles. Original mounting hole in underside. Included on an attached wooden base. Provenance: Harold H. Corbin, Jr. Collection, Litchfield Auction Gallery, 1990. Professionally restored beak. Otherwise excellent condition. H 6 1/4" ; L 10 3/4".
