Three Pieces of Glazed Redware, New England origin, 19th century, a cylindrical jar with brushed manganese decoration, Norwalk, CT origin, a cylindrical jar with spotted manganese decoration, Norwalk, CT or Huntington, Long Island, NY origin, and a bowl with slip-trailed yellow slip drapery over speckled brownish ground. Taller jar with wear to rim area and surface as well as a few base chips. Shorter jar with glaze loss to rim area and upper body as well as heavy chipping to base. Bowl with a large glaze flake to interior, two tiny in-the-firing surface pings to interior, a larger ping to rim, some losses to slip, and exfoliation to underside. H (of taller jar) 11 1/2" ; Diam. (of bowl) 11 3/4".
