Rare and Fine Large-Sized Stoneware Spaniel Doorstop with Two-Color Slip Decoration, Signed "I.R.," OH origin, late 19th or early 20th century, molded, full-bodied figure of a seated spaniel on base with incised details to face, ears, and paws, decorated with rare cream-colored and Albany slip over a reddish, sewer tile type clay. Hollow interior with red-painted initials, "I.R." Base chips. Otherwise excellent condition. H 11 1/2".
