Rare Miniature Stoneware Presentation Pitcher with Cobalt Decoration, probably VA origin, third quarter 19th century, stylishly-potted pitcher with footed base, ovoid body, and tall, narrow collar, featuring the incised name, "Virginia Meier," across the midsection. Brushed cobalt highlights to name and handle terminals. Collar decorated with delicately-brushed, stylized flower blossoms. Exceptional size. Excellent, essentially as-made condition with a very minor in-the-firing base chip. H 3 3/4".
