Three Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jars, Mid-Atlantic origin, 19th century, all of cylindrical form, a half-gallon jar with hanging floral motif, Philadelphia, PA origin, circa 1865; a one-gallon jar with circumferential tulip motif, Baltimore, MD origin, circa 1830; and a six-gallon jar with vertical swag decoration on front and reverse, Baltimore, MD origin, circa 1880. Smallest with spider crack descending from rim to midsection, a few rim chips, wear to interior of rim, and a small in-the-firing base chip. One-gallon jar with rim chips and heavy chipping around base. Six-gallon jar with a 6 1/2" crack from rim and a few small rim chips. H (of smallest) 8 3/4".
