Two Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Crocks, Stamped "F.B. NORTON & CO. / WORCESTER, MASS," circa 1870, measuring one and two gallons in capacity, both of cylindrical form with applied lug handles and stylized floral motifs accented with spotted trails. Smaller with in-the-firing base chips, chips to interior of rim, an in-the-firing iron ping to rim, a 1 3/4" hairline above one handle, and in-the-firing spots of clay residue to reverse. Taller in excellent condition with minor staining. H (of smaller) 7 1/4".
