Two Glazed Redware Jugs, Galena, IL origin, mid to late 19th century, both with lead-glazed surfaces, a cylindrical jug with orange spotting over an olive ground and a two-gallon ovoid jug with attractive spotting and streakiness to glaze, stamped "2" on shoulder. Smaller jug with base chips, minor surface wear, and a sliver-shaped in-the-firing contact mark to shoulder. Larger jug with a restored 1 3/8" spout chip, some unrestored glaze wear to spout, and a few unrestored base chips. Both have black marker catalog numbers written on underside. H (of smaller jug) 8 1/2".
