Very Rare Cobalt-Decorated Dog-Form Pitcher, probably White's Pottery, Utica, NY, late 19th century, ovoid pitcher with spout in the form of a dog's head, decorated with cobalt highlights to the face and collar and cobalt dashes to the handle. Salt-glazed surface. Exceptional form. Horizontal crack and small chip in base of handle. Some in-the-firing lines to head. H 8 1/8".
