Two Stoneware Jugs, Stamped "SWAN & STATES / STONINGTON," CT origin, circa 1825, a small-sized ovoid jug with Albany slip glaze and a one-gallon ovoid jug with cobalt-highlighted maker's mark and handle terminals. Smaller jug with wear to base and minor base chip on reverse. Other jug with two base chips and various in-the-firing iron pings to body and base. H (of smaller jug) 10".
