Stoneware Jug with Coggled Fish-and-Berry Decoration, Stamped "RUM," attributed to Branch Green, Philadelphia, PA, circa 1820, highly-ovoid jug with heavily-tooled spout, the shoulder coggle-decorated with a cobalt-highlighted fish-and-berry motif. Impressed "RUM" below spout. Base chips. A 7/8" spout chip, probably in-the-firing. H 9 1/2".
