Three Pieces of Utilitarian Pottery, American, 19th or early 20th centuries, a one-gallon salt-glazed stoneware pitcher, stamped "A.L. HYSSONG, / BLOOMSBURG. PA.," circa 1900; a scarce salt-glazed stoneware canning jar, stamped "T.J. SUTTLE," Thomas Suttle, Perryopolis, PA, circa 1865; and a sewer tile chicken waterer, probably Ohio origin, circa 1900. Pitcher in excellent condition with a shallow 7/8" flake to top of rim. Jar with some in-the-firing roughness to rim and an in-the-firing contact mark to shoulder, which involves some chipping. Chicken waterer in long, very old horizontal line at base, partially filled with an old, red-colored sealant. H (of waterer) 10 3/8".
