Exceptional Stoneware Bank with Elaborate Incised Floral Decoration, Summit County, OH origin, early 20th century, ovoid form with footed base and flattened top, the surface covered in reddish-brown Albany slip and profusely-incised with a flowering urn decoration and a floral wreath. Folky chip-carved decoration to rim and base. Carved slot in top. Excellent, essentially as-made condition. H 5".
