Fine George Ohr Pottery Star-Form Vase, Stamped "G.E. OHR, / BILOXI.", MS origin, late 19th century, bowl-shaped cabinet vase with footed base, the rim delicately depressed and pinched in the form of a flower blossom. Interior and exterior surface covered in a mustard glaze. Exterior with overlying heavy blue streaks and raspberry accents to the rim. Interior decorated with heavy raspberry streaks and blue accents. Underside impressed with George Ohr maker's mark. Desirable form and glaze. Three kiln scars to underside, the largest in the form of a 1" flake, which extends to the edge of the vase. Two minor nicks to tips of petals at rim. H 3" ; Diameter 5 1/2".
