Three Pieces of Alkaline-Glazed Stoneware, Catawba Valley, NC origin, 19th and 20th centuries, a two-gallon ovoid jar with handles and a handled sugar bowl with incised combing to shoulder, both covered in olive-colored alkaline glazes, 19th century; together with a one-gallon ovoid pitcher with alkaline glaze, stamped "REINHARDT BROS. / VALE, N.C.", circa 1935. Jar with large rim chips, a large chip to one handle, a smaller chip to opposite handle, as well as wear to rim and handles, and a small adhered piece of in-the-firing residue to shoulder. Sugar bowl with heavy chipping to rim and handles, as well as a 3 1/2" line from rim on one side and a 1 1/4" line from rim on reverse. Pitcher with two rim chips and two spout chips.
