Two-Liter Salt-Glazed Stoneware Jug with Impressed Decoration, German origin, 17th century, ovoid jug with tooled spout and footed base, the shoulder impressed with two circles. Provenance: Dredged from the Chesapeake Bay. Heavy chipping to base. Typical, minor in-the-firing flaws to surface.
