Rare Small-Sized Redware Mold, Stamped "I. BELL", John Bell, Waynesboro, PA, circa 1840, with scalloped edge, the mold decorated with diagonally-sponged manganese to the body and additional sponged manganese around the rim and to the top of the central tube. Surface covered in a clear lead glaze. Impressed "I. BELL" diagonally on the body. Exceptional size and desirable, early John Bell maker's mark. Wear to rim and top of central tube. H 2" ; Diameter 4 1/2".
