Fine Slip-Decorated Redware Charger, Huntingtion, Long Island, NY origin, early to mid 19th century, with coggled edge, the interior decorated with two circular designs with crossed centers and wavy borders. With its outstanding size, strong slip decoration, and remarkable condition, this charger ranks as one of the finest examples of Long Island redware we have ever offered. Provenance: Crocker Farm Auction, November 3, 2012. Excellent condition with some minor, unobtrusive rim chips. Diameter 14".
