One-Gallon Stoneware Pitcher with Freehand Cobalt Decoration, Western PA origin, circa 1875, ovoid pitcher with tall collar and heavily-tooled rim, decorated with a brushed fuchsia vine extending across the front, stripes at the rim and midsection, and three columns of heavy dashes along the spout. Excellent form. Professionally-restored area on right side of pitcher\'s rim. Otherwise essentially as-made condition. H 11 1/4\".
