Exceptional Small-Sized Stoneware Jar with Slip-Trailed Decoration, Baltimore, circa 1825, ovoid form with flaring collar and slip-trailed daisies with stems encompassing the shoulder. Approximately one quart size. Probably used as a tobacco or spice jar, and one of only a few examples of this form known. Outstanding vase-like form and color. Mint Condition. Height 6 1/4".
