Rare Small-Sized Western PA Stoneware Jug with Heavy Decoration, Greensboro or New Geneva, PA, Origin, circa 1875, freehand decorated with a Western PA vine motif flanking a central tree design. Unusual, tall-necked form with small strap handle. Exceptional size and decoration. Holds approximately one quart. Excellent condition with very faint 3 1/2" line on left side of decoration. Height 8 1/4".
