Glazed Redware Lion Doorstop, probably PA or OH origin, circa 1880, molded figure of a lion with hand-incised details to mane, face, paws, and tail, reclining atop a rectangular base, the exterior surface covered in a clear lead glaze. A 3" loss to base, primarily visible when doorstop is turned over. Additional chips to base. A chips to lion's tail. Wear to lion. L 9 1/4".
