Two-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "WHITES' BINGHAMTON", NY State origin, circa 1860, cylindrical jug with flared spout, decorated with a slip-trailed design of two well-detailed flowers emanating from a leafy stem. Cobalt highlights to maker's mark and capacity mark. A 6" Y-shaped crack descending from shoulder on reverse. An in-the-firing contact mark to top of spout.
