One-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jar, attributed to Henry H. Remmey, Philadelphia, PA, circa 1830, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder and rounded rim, the shoulder decorated with a band of cobalt daubs above a wavy cobalt stripe. An in-the-firing crack to underside. A small in-the-firing bloated spot near base. Shallow chipping to base.
