Fine Small-Sized Redware Plate with Elaborate Slip Decoration, PA origin, 19th century, with coggled edge, the interior decorated with a bold, wavy trail of yellow slip, overlain with manganese sponging. A strikingly-decorated example. A few glaze scratches and faint wear to interior. A very thin 1 3/4" hairline from edge. Diameter 7 5/8".
