Painted Redware Jar, Stamped "V. RUDOLPH", Shippensburg, PA origin, circa 1870, ovoid jar with tooled shoulder and pronounced, squared rim, the exterior covered in old green paint, the interior with lead-and-manganese glaze. Underside impressed with V. Rudolph maker's mark. One rim chip. A short, faint hairline from rim. Expected minor surface wear to body and light surface wear to inner rim area. H 6".
