One-Gallon Alkaline-Glazed Stoneware Jar, Stamped "JFS", Lincoln County, NC origin, third quarter 19th century, ovoid jar with flared rim, the surface covered in an olive-brown alkaline glaze. Excellent, essentially as-made condition with a minor, in-the-firing surface chip to midsection on left side of jar.
