Two-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jar, Stamped "J. BURGER, JR. / ROCHESTER, N.Y.", circa 1885, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder, flared rim, and applied lug handles, decorated with a looping line design below a cobalt "2.". Brushed cobalt highlights to maker's mark. Three rim chips, two small handle chips, and a 3/4" chip to opposite handle.
