Two Pieces of Cobalt-Stripe-Decorated Stoneware, Western PA origin, circa 1875, an ovoid jar with flattened and a cylindrical canning jar with "wax sealer" rim, each decorated with brushed freehand stripes. Ovoid jar in excellent condition with some fry to cobalt. Canning jar with some surface wear to left side of jar and minor wear to inner wax sealer rim. H (of canning jar) 6 3/8".
