Two-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jar, Stenciled "WILLIAMS & REPPERT. / GREENSBORO. PA.", circa 1885, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder and semi-rounded rim, the front featuring Williams & Reppert maker's stenciling along with a finely-stenciled vine motif at center. Shoulder and base decorated with freehand stripes. Base with freehand "2" flanked by flourishes. Exceptional color for this maker. Excellent condition with some light surface wear.
