Two-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Pitcher, Stamped "GOODWIN & WEBSTER / HARTFORD", CT origin, early 19th century, circa 1815, ovoid pitcher with footed base, tooled shoulder, and slightly-flared spout, impressed with Goodwin & Webster maker's mark on front. Handle terminals decorated with brushed cobalt highlights. This pitcher survives in difficult-to-find, excellent condition with an in-the-firing iron ping to side of rim, a small base chip, and a minor base nick.
