Fine Small-Sized Redware Loaf Dish with Three-Color Slip Decoration, Pennsylvania origin, early to mid 19th century, drape-molded oval form with coggled edge, the lead-glazed surface profusely-decorated with wavy horizontal trails of yellow slip, interspersed with copper slip trails and overlying splashes of manganese. Unusual slip treatment, strong decoration, and excellent size. Some wear to interior. Shallow rim chips and typical wear to rim. L 12" ; W 7 3/8".
