Fine Two-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Coggled Decoration, attributed to W.H. Hancock, Moore County, NC, fourth quarter 19th century, stylishly-potted, ovoid jar with tooled shoulder and wide-flaring collar, the shoulder decorated with a coggled design of interlocking triangles. Coggled "2" on shoulder. In-the-making rough area to shoulder. Shallow base chips. A short, faint line to base. A small chip to interior of rim.
