Half-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Freehand Cobalt Decoration, Western PA origin, circa 1875, semi-ovoid jar with tooled shoulder and semi-rounded rim, decorated with a series of inverted, graduated swags between two wavy stripes. Provenance: Collection of Lorren Lambert, Staunton, VA. Excellent condition with some faint crazing to surface and a green felt pad glued to underside.
