Two Pieces of Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware, Northeastern U.S. origin, 19th century, a two-gallon ovoid jug, inscribed "2", New York State or New England origin; paired with a batter pail with cobalt highlights to base of spout and surrounding handle on reverse, attributed to the Whites Pottery Binghamton, NY. Jug with a crack in handle and a shallow flake to top of spout. Batter pail in excellent, essentially as-made condition.
