Rare One-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jug, Stamped "D Ack / Mooresburg Pa" with Framed Mooresburg Pottery Archive, fourth quarter 19th century, squat-shaped, ovoid jug with squared spout and brushed tulip motif, impressed "D Ack / Mooresburg Pa", with cobalt highlights to maker's mark and lower handle terminal; paired with a professionally-framed and matted archive related to the Ack Pottery, including a "MOORESBURG POTTERY / J.F. ACK, PROP." billhead, advertising photographs of Ack pottery products, photographs of drying ware, a potter at work, and various Ack family members. Jug in excellent, essentially as-made condition with minor wear. Some light wrinkles to billhead. Framed material in otherwise excellent condition. Dimensions (of framed material): 21 3/8" X 21 3/4".
