Two-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "B.C. MILBURN", Alexandria, VA origin, circa 1850, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder and squared rim, decorated on the front with a brushed, triple-stemmed flowering plant design. Reverse decorated with three hanging floral motifs at the shoulder. Filled and colored rim chips. Several small filled base chips. A minor filled stone ping on exterior, not visible on interior. Vertical surface line to interior, not visible on exterior.
