Fine Half-Gallon Stoneware Pitcher with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Baltimore, MD origin, circa 1850, ovoid pitcher with footed base and tooled collar, decorated with a brushed vine bearing graduated leaves and fan-shaped blossoms, extending around the body. Collar with unusual chain link design. Cobalt stripe to rim and cobalt highlights to handle terminals. Excellent condition with a small rim chip on reverse. H 8 1/2".
