Exceptional Redware Plate with Marbled Two-Color Slip Decoration, Pennsylvania origin, 19th century, with coggled edge, the interior decorated with a striking marbled design in manganese and cream-colored slip. Very nice overall condition with only minor flaws. Two small chips and minor wear to rim. A minor and very narrow 1" in-the-firing contact mark to rim. Some light surface wear to lead glaze on interior. No glaze flakes. Diameter 8 3/4".
