Stoneware Canning Jar with Cobalt Tulip Decoration, Ohio origin, third quarter 19th century, ovoid canning jar with squared rim, the front decorated with a large tulip blossom, brushed over slip-coated clay. Spider line on underside, extending onto base area in several places. Two rim chips. H 9 1/4".
