Three-Gallon Double-Handled Stoneware Jug with Alkaline Glaze, Stamped "BB", Billy Bryant, Crawford County, GA, late 19th century, ovoid jug with tooled shoulder and applied strap handles at the shoulder, the surface covered in a mottled dark-olive-colored alkaline glaze. Provenance: Dr. Raymond L. Owen Collection. Areas of light wear to surface. Small pieces of clay adhered to shoulder during the firing.
